A dental emergency may include toothache, trauma, wisdom tooth pain, broken tooth, sporting accidents, infections, and tooth abscesses. We understand that toothaches can limit your ability to function normally. Dental conditions usually only present with pain when they are advanced; in the early stages, they are not normally painful.

To avoid emergency dentistry treatment, attend regular check-ups so we can often spot the condition early, prevent pain, and carry out a simpler treatment. If you have extensive injuries to your teeth and other parts of your body, please visit a Geelong hospital emergency department.

Same-Day Appointments

Having a toothache and not being able to book in with your dentist on the same day can be very frightening. We understand this and have made appointments available on the same day (weekends included). We can also arrange for denture repairs. At Geelong Dental Group, phone assistance is only available on Friday and Saturday evenings and throughout Sunday.

After-Hour and Emergency Appointments

After-hour appointments may be available if arranged beforehand with our friendly team members. Our emergency dentistry appointments are subject to availability, and our patients can be added to the emergency list when booking an appointment. This means that if any cancellations occur, you will be notified and allowed to take an earlier appointment time.

State-of-the-Art Dental Care

Whether your pain is the result of wisdom teeth, tooth decay, gum infection, or trauma, we have experienced dentists who can help you. We use state-of-the-art dental equipment at our dental practice including, digital X-rays, advanced dental chairs and OPG machines.

An OPG machine provides a panoramic X-ray of the upper and lower jaw. It is different from traditional X-rays as it is a very detailed image of a patient’s mouth, providing the position and growth stages of all teeth, including those that are yet to erupt. If you have a dental emergency, our team will do their utmost best to get you in for treatment as quickly as possible.
